Perfect Fit Blinds in Perry Barr

Perfect fit blinds sit in a slim frame that clips into the beading of suitable uPVC windows, so the blind moves with the sash and needs no drilling into the frame. If your Perry Barr windows tilt or open inward, or you rent and would rather not drill, they are worth a close look.

Compatibility comes first. Perfect fit frames depend on the depth and shape of the window beading, so some windows suit them perfectly and others do not. We check each window at the measure. If a frame is unsuitable, we will say so straight away and suggest an alternative rather than forcing a fit. Windows that look identical can have different beading, so every one is checked rather than assumed. If a window fails the check, a tensioned pleated blind or a recess-fitted roller is the usual next suggestion.

Inside the frame you can have pleated fabric, a roller or Venetian slats. Pleated and Venetian versions are the most common, and each gives a different feel: pleated is softer, Venetian is more precise. Because the blind sits so close to the glass, light gaps are minimal, which makes these a good choice where you want darkness without heavy fabric. The close fit also means the blind will not swing into a room when a window tilts open for air.

There are no dangling cords on a typical perfect fit blind, which many parents find reassuring in a child’s room. It also means nothing flaps when a window is open, and the blind will not rattle against the glass. There is also no chain to tangle with a curtain or catch on a radiator below the sill.

The frame colour can usually be matched to white, wood-effect or grey uPVC, which keeps the finished look neat from inside and outside. We will bring frame samples so you can see the match against your own windows. A matching frame helps a row of windows look consistent from the street as well as from inside.

Each window is measured and priced individually. You will receive a written quote, and the BN-14 code gives 14% off when booking online, as long as no bundle offer is used. It cannot be combined with any other offer.
