Perry Barr Blinds
A notebook, a tape and your actual windows
Most people who call about blinds have been living with a problem for a while: a bedroom that brightens at five in the morning, a front room where the telly glares every afternoon, a kitchen blind that gave up two summers ago. We like starting there, with the thing that annoys you, because it tells us more than any brochure question about colour.
On a Perry Barr visit we walk round with you room by room, write down how each one is used and who uses it, then measure every window you want covered. Samples come out on the sill so you can see how a fabric behaves in your own daylight, and how slats look against your own walls. Nothing is decided in a hurry.
You keep a written quote. If one of the fitted bundles covers your windows, we will point it out; if your windows are bigger than the bundle size, we will say that plainly and price them separately. The aim is a home that works better by the end of the week, not a sale for the sake of one.
